Product

Data, directly where you need it.

MCP server

Point Claude or Cursor at it and your agent queries the register directly, with the date on every record. Hosted for you: in Claude you sign in, with nothing to install.

REST API

One bearer token, JSON in and out, and an OpenAPI spec to generate a client from.

Connectors

The register inside the tools you already work in, with no integration project. Claude and ChatGPT first.

What it does

Search, enrichment and monitoring.

Search

Search by company name, in Dutch or French, with ranked results. Fetch any company by its enterprise number.

Enrichment

Send an enterprise number, get back names, address, activities, status and headline financials, the shareholders and participations, the directors and their mandates, and up to 20 years of filed accounts.

Coming soon

Monitoring

A company moves, renames, appoints a director or stops trading. You will hear about it the day it is published.

Data

What OTB Studio is for.

01

Data quality

From the Belgian registers and the published filings. No scraping and no inference, and every record carries the date it was last confirmed.

02

Query speed

Core tables carry scalars and every collection is its own table. A point lookup answers in about 3 milliseconds.

03

Token efficiency

Replies are compact JSON with empty fields left out, and you pay per datapoint actually returned, so an agent spends its context on the answer rather than on padding.

Methodology

Where a record comes from, and when it changes.

Daily

The registers publish, we ingest, and the change reaches the API the same day.

Complete

Dormant companies, ceased companies and historical filings are all in, not just the part that is easy to collect.

Pricing

You pay for what you asked for.

Not every datapoint is worth the same, so not every datapoint costs the same. No field sits behind a higher tier. The tier decides only how much you can ask for in a month.

What will you ask for?

How many companies a month?

Credits a company

Each row is priced as the API charges it, so a company with five directors costs five director rows. Fields a company does not have cost nothing.

A cheaper wrapper sells you more requests for less. What it returns is a name and an address. A call here returns the mandate holders, the filing history and the date the record was confirmed. You are paying for what a record contains, not for how many thin ones you can fetch.

Industries

Who uses it.

Finance and credit

Onboarding checks, counterparty files and portfolio reviews.

Sales and marketing

Keep CRM records current, and enrich accounts with financials.

Legal and compliance

Directors, mandates and ownership, with the filing behind each one.

Software

A company field in your product that fills itself from a VAT number.

Research

Profiles, ownership and up to 20 years of accounts for the companies you study, with nothing to host.

Developers

One token. One request. No sales call.

Sign up, pick a plan, mint a key, query. The same token works over REST and over MCP, and revoking it stops the next call.

Questions

What people ask before they sign up.

What is OTB Studio?

A REST API and an MCP server for Belgian company data. Every company on the Belgian register (KBO/BCE), live and ceased, with its directors and mandates, its shareholders and participations, and up to 20 years of annual accounts filed at the National Bank of Belgium.

How do I get Belgian company data into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

Add the MCP server at https://mcp.otbstudio.ai/mcp. In Claude you add it as a custom connector and sign in. In Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other MCP clients you send an API key as a bearer token. The docs have the exact setup for each client.

Can I use it without an AI agent?

Yes. The REST API returns the same data as JSON, and one API key works for both. The OpenAPI specification is at https://api.otbstudio.ai/openapi.json, so you can generate a client in any language.

Where does the data come from?

Identity, address, activities and status come from the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE). Annual accounts, ownership and mandates come from filings at the National Bank of Belgium. Every record carries the date it was last confirmed and a reference to the filing it came from.

How is this different from the free KBO open-data download?

The download is the register's own files: you host them, join them and keep them current yourself, and annual accounts are not in them. OTB Studio serves the register already joined with directors, shareholders and filed accounts, one call per company, from your code or your agent.

What does it cost?

9 monthly plans from €99 to €899. A plan grants credits, and a reply is charged for the datapoints it returns, so a company with five directors costs five director rows. Search is free, API keys are unlimited, and there is no free tier.
